Early Life and Background

• Born as Pratik Bachan in Chandigarh.
• His father, Varinder Bachan (died in 2021), was a Punjabi and Hindi music producer and composer of pop, folk music, and Hindu bhajans, who also worked in Punjabi films such as Jatt Punjab Daa.

Career Beginnings

• Started his career as a music director under the name “Prakky B,” producing a few songs that initially went unrecognized.
• In 2012, met lyricist Jaani and began collaborating under the name “B Praak.”
• Released their first song “Soch” in 2013, sung by Harrdy Sandhu and composed by B Praak.

Rise in Punjabi Music

• Composed and produced tracks for artists like Jassie Gill, Harrdy Sandhu, Amrinder Gill, Gippy Grewal, Diljit Dosanjh, Ammy Virk, with lyrics by Jaani.
